Review guidelines
Reviews help the next person pick the right yard. We read every one before it goes up. We publish good and bad reviews alike, exactly as written.
What makes a helpful review
- What you went for: a part, selling a car, selling scrap.
- Whether they had it, or paid what they said, and how long it took.
- How you were treated, and anything the next person should know before they go.
What we publish
Any honest account of your own visit in the last three years, positive or negative. We never edit a review and never remove one for being critical. Businesses cannot pay to change or hide reviews.
What we don't publish
- Reviews from owners, staff, their family, or competitors.
- Reviews that are not about a real visit, or copied from elsewhere.
- Names of staff or other people, phone numbers, addresses or other personal details.
- Hate, threats, harassment or sexual content.
- Accusations of crimes. Describe what happened; let readers decide.
- Ads, links or spam.
Your details
We ask for your email only to stop duplicate and fake reviews and to contact you about your review if needed. It is never shown or shared. One review per person per business.
